Feast With The Stars is Parkway Partners’ annual jazz brunch that launches tree planting season and supports greenspace work. 12,543 trees have been planted since Hurricane Katrina. The cuisine will be provided by Bayona Restaurant, Juan’s Flying Burrito, BonTon Café, Mother’s, Café Reconcile, The Columns, Calcasieu, Luzianne Coffee and Coca Cola. Jazz music sets the tone for brunch at historic Gallier Hall, while the Pussy Footers will provide some spice with a performance. Local celebrities and New Orleans characters mingle with guests. A silent auction and raffle encourage guest support.
Proceeds from this event will fund Parkway Partner’s ongoing efforts to plant trees, support urban and schoolyard gardens. 91% of the proceeds go directly into programs.
