| Sponsor a Tree for Yourself A Client, Friend or Co-Worker on a Holiday or Birthday Plant a tree in Memory of a Loved One ReLeaf New Orleans is Parkway Partners’ volunteer-driven initiative to restore the city’s once robust urban forest in partnership with the New Orleans Department of Parks and Parkways. With more than 6,000 trees planted since Katrina, we are only just beginning to replace the city’s trees on neutral grounds, in parks, playgrounds, neighborhoods and schoolyards. Sponsor a tree for the future or do it to honor someone important to you. For every $25 donated to the Gift of ReLeaf program, Parkway Partners will create a customized card announcing the planting of a New Orleans tree in your honoree’s name. ReLeaf New Orleans trees are substantial in size, as per city ordinances and guidelines established by the Department of Parks and Parkways, and the costs detailed below include maintenance and watering. |
